What’s in Your Toolbox?

The Smart Move workshop is a 4-hour, informative and dynamic self defence primer designed to help you understand the key psychological and physical elements that may arise in a potentially violent confrontation, and give you the chance to explore some simple but effective defensive skills to help detect, avoid or escape those situations. We encourage you to discover and test drive the many tools in your self defence toolbox, including mental readiness, situational awareness, use of body language, verbal diffusion and physical defence strategies.

Work With What You’ve Got

We keep it simple. There are no fancy techniques in the Smart Move workshop, just basic low kicks, strikes and ground escapes to help you get out and get safe. No physical fitness, flexibility or skill level is required to take this short course in self defence essentials. You work with what you’ve got. As with all of the programs offered through Sisu Women’s Self defence, the Smart Move women-only workshop is created for women by a woman, and is taught by a female instructor.

What Is The Cost of This Workshop?

The cost of the 4-hour Smart Move course is $40. There is a special Dynamic Duo discount rate of $35 per student when you register and pay for the course with a female friend or family member.
